JWoww ‘Would Never Say No’ to Proposal From Roger
Jenni “JWoww” Farley may be the short-fused tough gal on ‘Jersey Shore,’ but she’s also the only castmate who seems able to carry on lasting relationships. In ‘The Rules According to JWoww,’ the Long Islander dispenses dating and grooming advice for all you wannabe guidettes out there. And in a chat with PopEater, she credits her new love Roger Matthews for inspiring her to write it. She calls him “the guy I’m most compatible with” and admits she would “never say no” if he pops the question on Valentine’s Day.
Farley also talks up future plans (roomies with Snooki?), the upcoming season of ‘Shore’ in Italy (“It won’t hit me until I’m on the plane”) and what was on that hard drive that her ex-boyfriend took from her.
How did this book come about?
A lot of my fans were writing to me for advice because they saw my relationship on the show, and they could relate to it and basically the breakup and finding new love. It’s really reality checking myself, what I did wrong in the past to where I am now.
So, how is Roger?
I honestly say he played a big part in this book. He was somebody who even when I was 21, 22, my ideal guy. I was going through a bad breakup so I didn’t want to be in a relationship, but I actually found the guy I’m most compatible with. He was a friend first before anything and that just made it all the better. I liked him as a friend for a very long time prior. He was the kind of guy I always wanted. He was independent, what he liked in sports, being at the gym, being social.

SNOOKI AND JWOWW TALK ABOUT LIVING LIFE WITH A CAMERA CREW IN TOW.
JWOWW: “Yeah. We’re 24/7 filming. No cell phone, internet or TV. No magazines, newspapers, anything.”
SNOOKI: “So we don’t know what’s going on in the world.”
JWOWW: “So, we’re filmed 24/7, we have nothing to hide and like write each other. And that’s how you get real TV. You only see one side of us on the show because there’s only one side portrayed. It’s just us on the shore having a good time.”
SNOOKI: “It’s like vacation for us. What do you do on vacation? You party, you have fun.”
JWOWW: “Yeah. You party, have fun, drink, get naked. Be in bikinis, that’s what you do. But you put us in the winter and obviously you’re going to get a different type of show. You put us in Alabama, you’re gonna get a different show. It’s our location and timing that makes the show. Because I think our show is so real, like, they’re seeing us. So whether on camera or not doesn’t make a difference because we’re not being fake, we’re not trying to-we don’t have pressure on ourselves to be anything but us, so as long as the viewers keep watching us, we’ll still do it. ‘Cause it’s not like strenuous on ourselves like other reality shows, where they’re trying to be something they’re not.”
FIVE SEASONS IN, THE “JERSEY SHORE” STARS SAY, THEY STILL HAVE ALMOST NO REGRETS…
JWOWW: “Just my hair season 1, because I didn’t know what a keratin treatment was.
SNOOKI: “You looked fine.”
JWOWW: “And the humidity. I did not. I can admit it. I screwed up.”
I don’t diet. It never works. I eat in moderation, I eat frequently, and the biggest help is cardio. Instead of getting those big candy bars, I get the Halloween treats. I love Snickers. Snickers are my thing, and Kit Kats. It keeps me from crashing.

OUR INTERVIEW WITH JERSEY SHORE’S JWOWW
Anyone who watches MTV’s Jersey Shore knows that Jenni, AKA JWoww, is the more reserved, and almost motherly character of the four Guidettes. She doesn’t engage in the extreme drama highs (and lows) her fellow cast mates have become famous for – but we won’t hold that against her. She’s emerged as a pop culture brand name, promoting everything from bikini wear, to suntan lotion, to writing books – proof that this 25 year old has done quite well being the “Mom” figure.
What is your favorite reality show besides Jersey Shore?
Real Road/Road Rules Challenges. These shows have been overshadowed recently…but I grew up loving them. When they get the whole crews together for the challenges, it’s must-see TV.
Does Mike “The Situation” deserve the ‘villain’ rep he has on the show?
Mike is awesome. I think he kind of likes the ‘big brother’ role… so sometimes he gets a bad rap… undeservedly. (laughs)

Do you have an embarrassing Spring Break Moment?
I had an appearance in Cancun last year. Before we left the hotel I tried on a couple different outfits…mixing and matching different shoes. To make a long story short; I showed up at the club with 2 DIFFERENT heels on. They were similar… but definitely NOT the same! (laughs) I had to send my road manager back to get the match. Luckily we hadn’t gone on yet.
Word of advice for girls getting ready to go on their first spring break trip?
Live it up and do it big. This is likely to be one of the most memorable weeks of your life. Keep your group intact, buddy up and party responsibly.
Favorite Spring Break Destination: Daytona Beach, Panama City Beach or South Padre Island?
Panama City Beach. Amazing strip. Gotta love all the clubs and bars on the beach. The whole vibe down there is incredible. South Padre Island is a close second.
